more power for my super C

I do a few pulls with my 51 super C. I restored it a couple years ago valves and head, I also had Denny's rebuild the carb (stock), which has been great. I still need more power though I am stalling out when I get good traction. I don't want to cheat just wondering if there are some adjustments that would help. Maybe to the governor or timing thanks in advance

The govener dont make any HP but it will get more RPMs and adding a stronger spring. Next would be to go to 3 1/4 RED POWER pistons and sleeves then a different head then there is regrinding the camshaft and you can have 40 pluss HP@2100 RPMs

dont know for sure but the guys on the pulln forum say the fuel line on the sc are too small to put out enough fuel on anything over stock. They run bigger fuel lines when they pull them

Thats BS ever take the fuel line off at the carb and watch the flow. Even the flow out of the sediment bowl is a bunch no way that much flow would not run an engine that size at full throttle. Same set-up was used on an M,W9 and so forth.
