Is it possible to install a Sherman Trans on a Ford 801?

Looking at buying the four speed 801 Powermaster and wondering if I can add a Sherman. Where can I get one? Thx

Any other advice on the 801 w 4 speed?

Yes. A Sherman auxiliary transmission can be installed in any 84x tractor.

A neighbor of mine has an 841 with FEL, backhoe and Sherman combination transmission.

Sherman transmissions can be found on eBay regularly.

Regarding other advice: You are aware that the 841 does NOT have live PTO?

The 801 is the series of tractor not the model and one the models with the 4 speeds can have a Sherman install in them. The best one is the 3 speed combo which gives you over drive the normal 4 gears and then under drive which gives you 12 forward speeds. But it has non-live PTO and the Sherman will also effect the PTO speeds. I have an 841 which is the model with a Sherman combo
