I have mowed a few fields that have regrown, and the owners want it mowed again after it has regrown. I usually charge a little less for a remow. I got to thinking my barber doesn't give me a discount when I go in for another hair cut. What do you think charge them the same price as the first time? I had a flat on the rear today. That was 117.00 with a new tube, and boot. No discount there. Stan

I mow by the hour.....sometimes it is actually more the second cut, it all depends on the timing, usually it is less cause I can go faster. I just recut a field Saturday that I had cut 6 weeks ago...$300 the first time, $325 this time since we had a lot of rain and the grass and weeds took off. Most customers that mow for looks get it cut twice and those that are forced by the weed board to mow will cut once when the noxious weeds are in bloom. Those are the fields that take longer as they are usually overgrown.

We;ll, Id consider the 1st cutting more hazardous to your stuff, new ground and all.

The second cutting you'd be familiar with the area, and can probably get done a little quicker.

So, I'd look at it as you charging extra for the 1st time through, not a discount for the recutting?

The lower price kinda makes sense for the 2nd time through, but I understand either way.

Dad would talk about the neighbor - boyhood friend of his - that had an Indian cycle - this was back when they were new, not collectors. Cool stuff, cool stories what little I can remember from dad.

Yep, that was one, the other was Aeronca Chief airplane. I had a Indian Chief back in 63 or 64. I forgot what model it was but around mid 30's. It had leaf spring front suspension.
