Here in Highland IL., 30 miles East of St. Louis Mo it reached 102° today, low humidity though which made it bearable. Usually we have such high humidity, 70° is uncomfortable. The forecast for the next 4 days is 100° plus. IT's so dry here also. We've only had an inch of rain in the last 6-8 Weeks.

I'm glad we got the second cuttin done over here in Alton last week.Everything is in the shade including me.

Bet we don't see "Machinery Pete" on TV this fall talking about record prices for used machinery. Estimates of the corn crop seem to be getting smaller every day.

Yep calling for around 104 tomorrow here at the Lake of the Ozarks. So hot out I saw a dog chasing a cat and both or them where walking and even then every few minute they would both stop and lay down a few minutes to cool off LOL. We are 7 plus inches behind in rain this year and if it keeps it up the 4th of July maybe one big fire

We swimming here. Drought for 2 yrs and now 100 yr flood.

Garden corn was picked last week. Now just waiting for water to subside so I can get back to the day job.

96 here in Sioux Falls, SD. High humidity with a heat index of 105 and very light breeze. Couldn't hardly move so we quit work at 2 and did some running around for parts and misc..

I just got done stacking idiot bricks at about 10:30pm. 96F when I started at 6PM and humid enough to pretty much drink right out of the air. I would stack 30 bales and come out the barn and dunk my head in the spring because sweating sure wasn't doing any good. There was a Heat Advisory saying to stay inside, but I sure hope they didn't mean to stay inside the haymow!

"Gotta make hay when the sun shines", I guess. Sure glad I didn't have more than 150 squares to bale. I have about 100 to bale tomorrow, but I might just give up this Iron-man garbage and round-bale it :)

105 yesterday, humidity seems like its about 90%.pretty nice at night though,i sure am glad i fixed the lights on my tractors or I couldnt hang.Sold off all my cab tractors when i quit farming,so i become nocturnal when the temps get over 90. Its kind of funny to watch folks slow down when they see you out mowing or plowing after dark these days.

Northwest Kansas is a little cooler today with only 109 degrees.

The last few days we have had temps up to 115 degrees.

They are forecasting a couple days next week to also get back up to 115. (which is a little cooler than this mornings first forecast of 117 and 118 for next Tuesday and Wednesday   )
