Just to hijack the dry post below, it's very, very dry here. Some around were lucky to get a good rain last week, but not here. I can't believe how good the crops look and we're short like 10" this year. They must have bred some good weed genes into the corn and beans. I've never had to use my crop insurance yet, only been doing this for 8 years. I think there's a good chance I'll use it this year....

Super dry here in NW Ohio too. Last Saturday on a farm show I heard the national crop yield prediction, it was as if everyone's doing fine.

I'm coming to NW Ohio soon, around Antwerp. Close to you? I thought it was dry when we came over last year too.
