You're having late ones too huh? I had one yesterday that I wasn't expecting and one today that I knew was getting close. I've still got 6 to go. Three on each side of the road. Seems like no matter how hard I cull, there's always a few straglers. In fact, one that hasn't calved yet was a first calf heifer last year. Just didn't breed back right away like she should have.

I don't know what is going on - last year she delivered on Jan 28 now this one in June??? Got a problem with her bag too - calf can only nurse from the one side and the other side looks like it could pop. I think I am gonna keep this one as her replacement. Have to think long and hard if I should try one more outta her while this one matures. Got another that calved twins last year on Good Friday and looks like she could still be atleast month away.

Randy, best calving ever, start March 8,finished 28 April, 64 live, lost 2 and one lost during winter, pulled 3 one foot back, one backward and one it was time to go to dinner with the neighbors.
Now if it would rain, less than .3 in last 60 days.

Nice looking calf. Maybe this weird weather over the winter has something to do with her biological clock.

As for the udder - you probably know this but sounds like mastitis. I'd talk to a vet - but otherwise keep an eye on her temperature, and how she's eating. If infection spreads it's not good.
