Hello im looking for a sheppard tractor. Any size. In restorablr to restored condition. Any help woulf be great. Thanks in advance
 
Not too many around. You just gotta keep looking. There weren't too many built before Shepard went to building brake parts, and it was more profitable. The SD's were ahead of their time. As long as I've been going to shows, I have only seen a handfull.
 
Google in :Shepard Diesel tractor club. That should help. I think they are based in Ohio or Mich? clint
 
Built right up the road from you in Hanover, PA.

They recently opened a small museum to commemorate 75 years of operation. Found this link that mentions the museum. Tractors are under plastic "dust covers" in the photo. I have not been there, but keep meaning to check it out sometime out of curiousity.

Not far from where I live in MD. I saw the first
one in 1955 when I was just discharged from the Army. There were 3 tractors plowing that field
and that diesel was moving on. This was in Cecil county not far from the Kent county line.
