have gilson tractor model yt16h model#52098 48065. can anyone tell me year of tractor and how to read model#

They used 16hp B&S engines in their tractors and they also made Wards tractors using the same engine. Look on the fan shroud it should have the model number 326434, also there's a type number and a code number. The code number will give you the year the engine was made. That should be close to when the tractor was built. Hal
