RAIN : Forgot what it looks like in lower S.E. lower MI

I see there predicting rain for Michigan. Been at least 8 weeks or better since we seen rain here near the Michigan/Ohio boarder S.E. part of Michigan.
Grass so dryed out it sounds like your walking on potato chips.
Crops need the rain bad! Soybeans that was planted earlyer this month a very spotty some haven"t even seen day light yet. Hay - first cutting was ok but secound cutting going to take longer.
Hopefully we will get some meaureable rain in the next couple of days?

Had a front move thru central Michigan this evening - about 45 minutes and 3/4 an inch of welcome rain. Our county (Montaclm) was under a severe storm WARNING, but sure couldn"t prove it by the weather here! Been pretty dry here and that rain sivery welcome, to give corn, oats, pastures a kick in the PLANTS.

Dry here in west central ohio,8 miles east of me got 2.6 inches tonight in an hour.

Up here in Clinton Co it looks like mid July. Last several "It's going to rains" dried up as it got here.

According to the radar, had rain north of us but missed us/ dried up again. I'm ready to wash all the cars, put out a load of laundry, mow some hay, water the garden, leave all the windows in the house open, and then leave for a few days.

We got a short thunderstorm today here in SE AZ.First rain in 5 months. Hard to keep anything alive. I have kept the lawn green in front. Let it dry up in back. We just had a new pump put in and lowered in our well and a lightning strike on the pole took out some of the control parts.

We had a brief downpour last night and a steady soaker this morning. Can't wait to see my corn next week. It's supposed to be 95 tomorrow. I think I hear it growing now. Better go have a look.
