Finally RAIN!!! 3 inches here in South East Nebraska.. Needed it bad.. not a stitch ran off.. ran into the cracks but not off.. lol.. more coming next few days..Cut hay couple weeks ago.. still same stubble ..maybe now it will start growing and turning green..

Ya seems a good bit of the mid-west needs rain and a lot more then what we have been getting. Here in Missouri most are behind 5 plus inches of rain so far this year

Was watching the radar and it looked like you guys were getting a good shot. Hope you can get more.

Lately the rain gets to my part of NWIA and it peters out. Not complaining much because we've had enough to sustain us and the crops look good, but if the rain shuts off we don't have enough reserve to make it through the summer. Jim

Can't get hay made here, because of too much rain (or at least too often). Over 2" yesterday, and we weren't dry... we DID have runoff.

We can't seem to get any rain here. Just shy of an inch of rain since May 1st, none of that came down at more than a couple hundredths at one time and did little to effect soil moisture. I've been watching the radar real close lately and all the rain skirts around us. It sprinkled here last night for an hour and looked like we had more coming, checked the rain gauge this am and that darn june bug most have drank everything in there. My sweet corn I planted the first week of April is 2 1/2 tall and I can look down and see a tassel coming. We are 45 mi NW of Des Moines.

Need rain badly here in michigan, have had very little, less than an inch since may 1st, many windy dry days and now the heat dried things right out. No second cutting hay, many corn and bean fields are spotty in germination with the drought. Corn is curling now. Yards are dead.

So dry here in west central Arkansas. Our pastures look like dead of winter. Some cows are being fed hay already. Crops look horible, but there is always tomorrow.......

You gotta quit hoggin that rain over there. "Here" we're getting very dry. We cut our 2nd crop 3 weeks ago and it hasn't grown much at all, Dad said it's starting to bud again so we'll have ot cut it soon just so we can hope to have a shot at some 3rd crop if we can get some rain. Gonna be doing oats & peas, and peas and tritical this weekend, but I still woulnd't mind a rain break.
