one ton dump bodies

Plan on acquiring a new dump body for the Chevy 3500. We've had Easterner bodies in the past and have had decent luck. I was just reading up on Iroquois dump bodies, if the cost is cheaper I may go with it. Anyone familiar with the small Iroquois dump bodies?? If so, any reviews??

Look for one built with high tensile steel, it makes a huge difference. Every rock will dent one made of mild steel. Call my buddy Regi at McDevitts, he'll steer you right.

I have an Omaha dump body on a 1986 3500, its holding up well. Will need a new floor, but that is because of the Michigan salt in the winters.

Have an Iroquois 11' on a 550 Ford. I ordered it with a thicker floor and taller tail gate. Mine is 3 and 1/2 to 4 and1/2 yard with a scissor lift.I like the way the tail gate top hook un hooks to lower the gate. I haul dirt and fire wood works good. Get the largest hoist they make for the body you want as you can over load them. BTDT!
