851 round baler

my 851 spits out some hay on the ground when ejecting each bale is this normal for this baler

It is a common thing. Some hay gets between the bottom rolls/chain and falls out when you open the door.

thats what i figured.kinda unhandy really just makes extra work cleanin it up

My 850 does the same thing. I just go back and let the baler pick up most of it and then no clean up as such and you save a little bit of hay to boot. But I also dump or eject my bales up by the hay barn so I do not have to haul them out of the field later

I have noticed the same thing especialy when hay is realy dry try balin when hay is a little tougher or not soo dry , and it wont hardly leave anything.
