yet another worry?

Observed that neighbors pond ducks are roaming further away from their pond foraging for food. Pond about 600 ft. from garden. This morning i found them on the edge of my garden and some new green bean plants eaten down. Queston is; are ducks destructive in a garden? This is a new experience with ducks.

In two ways, they can eat tender new shoots and bugs as well, and they do trample things. I would work with the neighbor to control their raoming. Fencing is usual. Jim

Darn, look these here ducks just grew in my garden! I didn't even have to plant em but they sure taste good!

Not knowing what they were doing, I stood and watched them digging up the potatoes wife planted the other day. When I ask her what they were doing she had one of here fits. Sure is dry here. Get yourself a couple of bags of cracked corn and feed them in a spot you dont have anything in and dont care if they crap all over that place.
