PTO end repair

Anyone know how or have instructions on how to fix the locking
pin on a PTO shaft front yoke.

This is the pin you push in to lock the PTO shaft on the tractor.

broke/missing or just stuck???

With the exception of my mower, all my stuff was old and unused for ages and not maintained very well then...
Those pins had to be forced in to hook up and wouldn't come out again.
I used a propane torch to warm them up good and sprayed liquid wrench (only PO I had at the time) in/tapped them a little. After I got movement, I just stayed with it. All are fine now.
If you need to take them apart, there should be a little drift pin to punch out.

Have fun....

Um - do you mean the little thumb pin you push in to _unlock_ the yoke from the tractor?

They sell replacement kits to fix 2-3 different styles of this pin if it broke.

If it is frozen up, a hammer & penitrating oil generally makes it work again.

Picture or better explination might get you better ideas.

No less than about 6 or 8 difrent versions of that little pin . Some the small end pushes in and some the bid end but Dave 2 has your answer. Go slow and use good penetrating oil. Usuaslly nothing wrong they just get froze up. Like he says IF repair is neede you need to take your parts and go to smething like tractor supply they have the kits where you can look and see what you have.

Its froze/rusted up. End of mower was down in Mud for 4-6 years.
put penetrating oil on it, tapped it a few times, dug out as much
rust as possible. Haven't tried heat yet.

Thanks
