Got to see the world's biggest tractor today

on our way to Waterloo, IA, we stopped at the farm toy museum in Dyersville. There they had a note with the Big Bud models telling that the 16V747 is on display at the Heartland Acres Agibition Center in Independence, IA. I encourage anybody in the area to go see it. We got to crawl around all over it, sit in it and the whole bit.

We had big bud at a tractor show here in central il a couple yrs back. It was a treat to see and the fact that it was built in the 70"s is something also. Pulls a hell of a disk

Ray I think 40 acres might be pretty close it's a big boy with that disc, wish I could remember how many rows. Has 1000 fuel tank and seems to me they said it works that many acres a day. Up in Montana I suppose it's possible with wide open spaces

i believe i heard that thing pulled a chisle plow that is 60 feet thats sixty feet wide, it can cover 1 linier acre per minute

Yes the Big Bud was in Penfield IL back in 2009 at their show. I want to compliment the show also, they have a very nice show there and how they turned an old Highschool
(and it's classrooms) into a museum. The room that was set up as a parts room was very nice. A couple of the rooms were set up as kitchens and dinning rooms. The gymnasium was for machinery. They did a lot of work to make it what it is. My hat's off to that club.

They keep claiming that the Big Bud is the world's biggest tractor but actually it is not. The biggest one was built in South Africa.
