Wire thief sentenced - finally got one!

We"ve had a rash of various thefts, breakins, etc. in our area lately. One of the nasties has been the theft of electrical wiring from center pivot irrigation systems. Last winter one got caught, and apprehended... The farmers, a couple of brothers, leaders in the community, were instrumental in catching the guy. He finally got sentenced - won"t be staling any wiring for a while!

I bet ya the only reason this guy got any serious time for this particular crime was because he had a previous record as long as your arm.Was probably on probation/parole for numerous other misdemeanors/felonies.As rampant as this type of crime is these days,they just dont have room in prisons for 1-2 thousand dollar non-violent grand larceny convictions.
 
Yeah the prisons are too full of young kids getting their kicks off a couple of joints of pot. If you think there is justice in this country, guess again. If you don't think that the pot thing isn't a money making avenue, especially for lawyers, guess again.
