Anyone here used the Robo Rock Picker? it looks like a great idea and looks like its fairly quick as well...and you don't have to work all the ground up etc from what I see, though most of the video is in worked fields. I have about 10 acres of pasture area that has rocks throughout in spots and also a couple of old rock piles I would like to move. Curious how well it works and if there are drawbacks or limitations. |

| | Seems like it would only work it a very well tilled field. If you notice in the video they never show it running for any length of time when scooping the rocks in tilled corn stalks or sod. Only do they show it running in the finely tilled dirt. I'm betting it would plug real easy in anything but fine till with no trash. Rick |

| I can"t imagine the robo could work well in a pasture- the dirt needs to be loose. A tine fork would work ok in sod. Personally, I think a standard rock fork with a hyd driven reel would work just as well as a robo, would hold more, and wouldn"t cost as much. I added a screen from a rock crusher to my fork, so it holds rocks down to 3 inch size, but I still plan to add a reel to it, mounted on the grapple. |
