Forklift forum

I am the Tech Support guy for a major narrow aisle lift manufacturer. I find a lot of useful information on the Forklift Action website.

What kind of information are you seeking?

The dash oil came on and stays on with engine running. This just started Saturday.
I assume the light indicates low oil pressure for engine or maybe low oil level but then got to thinking could it possibly have a connection to hydraulics and or automatic transmission? Thank you for asking.

Where you located? I don't do much outside of our brands, but will see what I can find out.
You will quickly find out how proprietary and hard to find service information is on newer lifts. Parts are often outrageous too. Amazes me how fast parts go obsolete one them now also. We have machines over 30 years old we still support, but these are specialized lifts, often built to custom specs for a particular application, so they tend to stick around longer.

Thanks for the offer of help but I should be OK for now. I poked at it a bit trying to follow the wire from oil idiot light back into engine compartment. Must have disturbed something cause when I started it the light went out. Possibly a connection. I suspect this unit is about 30-35 years old. I am in west central Wisconsin.
