Ever had this happen

I had a bearing go out on my flair mower blade drum. I had a couple ordered. I needed to do a couple mowing jobs today. So I replaced it with a used one that was much better. Just as I finished replacing the bearing, the UPS truck shows up with the new ones. I went on to my jobs anyway. About 20 minutes into the job the hyd. oil cooler return line on my JD sprung a hole. Didn't get much done today. I will give it heck tomorrow. Stan

That's the story of my life. I can never get anything done for playing Mr. Goodwrench on everything. Sometimes I have to repair the tools before I repair my broke stuff.

Was helping the neighbor disk ground getting ready for beans, using his 7060 allis. A few rounds later, just long enough to get things good and hot, yeah, metal hyd line between engine pan and frame developed a pin hole. Nothing like hot hyd oil running down your arms.

I never start a project/job unless I have 2 or 3 times the amount of time it should take... Anything else is an open invitation for a visit from my friend murphy.....

I always say that is the way it is when you have junk. But I also say it is all junk, just some of it is closer to the junk pile than others even new stuff.

So far this year things have been running like a top.... so far.... ha ha.

This means in a month or two my day or week is coming.

Rick

I don't have junk, just old very useable equipment. A bearing failed after two years of high speed spinning. As for the oil return line. I would have never thought, a non pressurized line would fail. I change radiator hoses when they look bad. I take good care of my stuff. I make part of my livelyhood from my machines. A wheel bearing went out on our 08 ford Edge. Does that meat it's junk. Eventually every thing will turn to junk, but not while it's in my hands. stan

What I mean is sooner or later it is going to be junk! Not that you have junk. Brand new vehicle and gets totaled is junk and it was most likely made from junk someone sold. I meant my statement as a joke but some people don't understand I guess.
