Danauser. post hole digger help needed.

I have an old post hole digger that I believe to be a Danauser(sp) because it has a rib like the one in the previous post. No tag or markings. It has the screw and cutters as a single unit. I have been unable to find anyone that carries that style cutters so I have been welding up both the cutters and screw to make it work.Our sandy soil really wears them out fast. Does that brand still exist and do they sell the lower unit on the auger that I need?

I will post you the auger repair parts in the morning, if you have a Danuser auger I will bet they still supply the repair parts god company, you will need to know which model you have if you can post a pic of the digger gear box I can tell, they made two pto models the lighter duty 20/40 and the F-8 this one is very heavy and has been made the longest cnt

I agree, I think Danuser still sells them...A few years ago, I contacted them (on line) about the F2 we use...they got back with us in under an HOUR by phone. I think they wanted us to convert the F2 to the F8 for safety reasons, but we won't. At any rate, they did send us a package of warning decals free of charge. We had intentions of ordering new cutting edges, but have not needed them yet had haven't done so yet.

Thanks for the reply. I just brought load of stuff from cleaing my daughters yard and I stacked it all in the way of getting to the auger. I wil try to get it dug out so I can take a picture.
