I have a 1 inch air impact it was brand new last year hasnt done a lot over winter it sat in it case just in a shed went to use it today and it was siezed up finaly got it going but not working 100 percent yet ive been pouring hyd oil down the air intake is they any thing tht be better to use to clean it up still has i dead spot in it and have a hard time getting it to go again |

| As the others said, ONLY use air tool oil in air tools. |

| Flush it with a light solvent..then use Marvel Mystery Oil. When I worked in the Railroad Locomotive Repair Shop, Marvel Mystery Oil was the only thing we used for air tool oil. |

| Flush it with kerosene and add air tool oil. |

| WRONG oil big time. Flush it out with a good cleaner like brake spray cleaner then use a GOOD air tool oil. And hope you get to it very soon or you can have the vanes in the tool expand and then your going to need a rebuild of the tool. Spent a few years working at Tracker Marine as an air tool repair person till I got a promotion to told factory repair and the wrong oil in them causes funny problems |
