Bought this swather on a sale last fall, and today was the first time I could try it out. My MRS took a few piks, and yes it was cold. Hope tomake this into haylage tomorow, then work the field and plant corh for silage. Bruce

That is a very cute machine, what size is the cut? I am guessing 10 or 12 feet from the photo but would like to know. Looks like fun.

I have one almost exactly like it that I have never used, how fast were you able to go?

Nice "stand" of grass; looks like it will make some very good hay.

Does the swather cut the grass with a sickle knife?

Thanks for sharing your photos with us.

Bruce,
I presume you are still shipping milk? Are you still running a registered heard?
The Uncles here on Clinton Camp Farm, still can't pull themselves away from the cows. They wern't going to board any more heifers for the local farmers, BUTTTTTTT. there are around 400 hoofs treading the pastures now. Those short legged colored critters just don't look wright in the pastures though. Nothing compares to the look of award winning Black & White Holstiens grazing in a lush green pasture.

Yes ACC Guy , still shipping milk, and still pure bred cows, and still loving it.James, the swather cuts with a knife with guards, just like your mower.4020deereboy, I think this is all massey, except for the 225 slant six Dodge power.LAA,Like any other mower, speed all depends on how good your knife guards and hold downs are, I was cutting as fast as she would go. Hope that covers everthing, thanks for the positive feed back , Bruce

I have one that looks almost identical to it but it is a White 6200 and has a double tale wheel assembly instead of single. What model # and year is that MF? Mine is an 84 model I believe.

Looks like MacDon made them for MF and a few others from this.
