Saw you were from down there. We"ll be making the 2 hour ride south in a few weeks for getting together with family down east of Bloomington. My grandfather, Dad, me and now my kids love to swim, play and fish in little Brummett"s Creek. Ever heard of it?

Sure have, its up in the Northeast part of the Monroe County (Unionville I believe) but Im in the Southwest (Kirksville). Its also in the Lake Lemon area where the city got water before Lake Monroe was built in the SE part of the County Indianas largest lake, 10,000 acres.

Id say hi but Im leaving June 5 to go out west 6 weeks in the RV taking in 6 Natl Parks plus visiting kids in Memphis, Austin, and San Diego

Originally Monroe Reservoir or however you spell it. Both of my sisters worked at Four Winds as waitresses while they were at IU in the mid 1970s.

Yep its called Lake Monroe nowadays and before that Bloomington got water from Lake Lemon and before that Griffey Lake and Twin Lakes way back when.......
