LP truck showed up today unannounced an filled the pool heater propane tanks today.
I was all ready to get upset until reading the receipt and it was only $1.57US gallon. That's delivery, tanks supplied, propane and taxes all in.
That's less than half the price it was in 2004 or 2005.

good, you see people on here say the president has nothing to do with gas prices , but you dont have to be very smart to notice when its time for election he makes the prices go down , wake up america.but enought said for the president

??? Propane for home heating and motor vehicles is down around here to less than half of 2005 prices.
BBQ fills etc however have gone up, not down.

Hillybillyhim i get my propane from Illini f s that wouldn"t happen to be them you bought from? If so time to get the summer fill special.

Where are you in Southern Indiana? I'm in Harrison County, and I'm looking for a supplier with a good price. For 18 years, I've been with the F-word [two-tone blue tank, hint, hint...], and I'm NOT happy.

Bloomington in Monroe County, the provider is the Shelby County Farm Bureau Co Op, check with Farm Bureau in your area maybe

check propane one based in okland city if town is wrong google it they supply many turkey farms and have good prices

Umm, do you think maybe the mild winter had something to do with the low propane prices maybe?

Most people don't use enough propane in a year to notice a price difference. They fill their grill tank once a year, and like someone else said, the price of a grill tank fill hasn't gone down.

GASOLINE is where they pay attention, and while it's coming down the price is still putting a hurt on millions of families.

If cheap propane is a re-election tactic, it's a pretty ill-conceived one.

...to Indianapolis you may be in "southern Indiana," but you're still about an hour north of me.

I noticed long ago that when the legislature is funding projects in Indiana, "southern Indiana" ends at the southern border of Monroe County [Evansville being the lone exception]...but when a potential revenue source is identified, suddenly the border once again goes all the way to the Ohio River.
