Didn't seem that way to me but maybe I just happened to get into some of the tender stuff. Some of the other US guys on the crew didn't like barley beef but I think that was just because they didn't like something they weren't used to. Jim

I just cut down an apple tree and a pear tree that the wind blew over. I kept the wood for cooking on. I thought i would try it.

Sure its good for you, when me n my buddies get together n set some NON LEAN jowl bacon to fry in the morning with biscuits n gravy (I take an extra blood pressure pill and a baby aspirin) and later and grille up some medium rare Rib Eyes and Sirloins n suck down a few long necks we wanna go in the woods n shoot some defenseless furry creatures NOW THATS FUN...

It will eventually get you. My parents ate fat meat their entire lives and it finally got them. Dad was 89 , and Mom was only 98 when meat got the best of her. Pickles are bad for you too, 100% of the people who eat them will die. Joe

Be careful, everyone in my family eats red meat, and pork too. The youngest family member died at 89. The rest 92-97. Looks like I have 50 more years of eating steak wrapped in bacon.

Now we know where you get all your motivation to
finish all your projects so fast. You hang that
screen back on the dozer thinking about a good steak
when your done just like a greyhound chases a rabbit
around the track hoping to catch it.

hat reminds me of when I used to work in the bush with the dozer, used to make something up at night, wrap it in tin foil and throw it on the exhaust manifold of the cat in the morning. By dinner time you had a hot lunch to eat....Ribs were the best!!!

Mixed oat- barely grains and or feed wheat is preferred over corn. Corn gives a stronger taste and makes the barn yard, feedlot and dung pile smell worse.

No. It should be seared on the outside, and just starting to turn slightly pink in the center, reddish but not quite bloody. MMMMMMMMMMM.
