New DA Tank

This is old boiler feedwater tank coming out and new one going in.Pretty big project for our little paper mill.Next year we convert to gas from coal.Man Im really gonna miss humpin them ashes(YEAH RIGHT)lol.

I think I was inside one of those once! I vividly remember going into a water softener, after I got down into it, the hole in the top didn't look big enough to get out again! I miss the paper mill, but I like the freedom of retirement. I worked as a millwright at the mill in Sartell MN for 27 years.Where is your mill? So many have been shutdown. Sartell shut down the two older machines (1906) since I left. 33% of production.
