I know that some men wonder why we can't have more than one wife and others will tell you that's God's law.......but it is in the Bible......[b:036f447145]man can serve but one master.[/b:036f447145]

I can't really speak for you, but as far as I'm concerned, one is enough. She keeps me hiding most of the day on the farm. I could only imagine 4 or 6 or 8 of them hunting for me. Back in my younger days, I made the mistake of having two girlfriends at the same time. I thought I might have been responsible for the next global conflict. They're almost as bad as wives. Nope, one is enough.

Ah but you better go back and reread it there is not place that says a man can not have move the one wife but there is a place where it does say you can not have more then one master. Yep read it cover to cover more then once. Also did you know there is no place in that book that says a woman has to love her husband but it does say he has to love her. Again read in in Hebrew Greek and Latin.

Well, I know the boy upstairs is our master, but but the little lady has a lot of pull too. I have a nephew by marriage who has a wife and a girlfriend living happily with him in the same house, or at least I'm led to believe they are happy. Mention the situation to his dad and you will listen to a two hour long arm waving, spittle spraying rant. Jim

One of my old commanders from the Air Force had an saying " You know it's going to be an interesting evening when you come home from
work and your wife and mistress are setting in your living room chatting" Multiple wives? Does that mean multiple mother-in laws? You
don't think about the downside when your young. My opinion- anyone trying to keep more than one women happy is a darn fool or an
overachiever. Biblical basis for monogamy I don't know of a passage that says "thou shalt not have more than one wife" but in several
places it defines only two participants in marriage as in "two shall become one" Kings and (bishops, elders or pastors depending on the
translation) are commanded to have only one wife or "be the husband of one women". Other passages seem to indicate that one wife is
God's preference and some who had more than one wife also had a lot of grief, some scholars teach that that grief was a result of God's
wraith.

Don't know about the rest of you fellas , but I get enough gray hair with just one woman ,but wouldn't trade her for anything . Life is good.

Married 30 years in 4 days. It only took 28 years of me before she got fed up (led by her BFF) to leave. I've had my 1 in life, I won"t make that mistake again!

From the looks of the replies received, it appears I must have made some sort of mistake or something. Ahh but that"s OK, I"m proud of my mistake. I picked the right one the first time, been 35 years next month and we are still in love.
