i think it would be nice if you people would address who you are referring to when you are replying to a person in an ongoing post. that's it, chuck

thurlow, naw i like the modern. just think it would be nice over here. some times i can't figure who in the heck they are talking/complaining about. chuck

If the person replies right he will be responding to the post above his when the subject is offset like my post is responding to you.

To do that you click on "reply" in the posters box. To reply to the the orginal post you click on "add a reply" at the bottom.

Clear as mud right.

all you need to do is hit the quote button and every one knows what post is being replied to.

I'm with Chuck on this one. I like to see people's actual names at the end of their post. Internet user names just seem silly to be addressing an individual by. I always try to address who I'm talking to, or responding to, and I like to know a person's name. Just the first name is fine.

I also like the "modern" view. It is more similar to all the other forums out there. My bookmark seems to default to "classic" view, and that drives me nuts. I wish "classic" view would just go away...

Although I know many of you still prefer it. Different strokes...

Have a great day!

Troy

I thing I'm guilty of this.

I'll read original post and then down all the replies and if I add anything I'll hit reply on the last reply, which then I have to delete that fella's quote and then reply.
