(quoted from post at 19:41:32 05/23/12) Could use a couple days of a nice soaking rain here in NW PA. Nothin too hard or quick though.
m done with it now, I will send it down your way

Got a 1/2" May 7th, & under a half inch a couple days ago; but 90's forcasted for the weekend are going to be tressful if no rain comes with it!

Its getting very dry here for this time of year.Very windy and hot, just like its August. Yards already brown.

send some down here-getting tired of fighting fires. Department is getting tired of me tearing up tires-two in the last week from running in mesquite river bottoms. hope the seeds don't float away.

3 or 4 gray, maybe drizzly days, and about 1/2" a couple of days ago. Threatening t-storms now, and for the past two days. And maybe tommorrow. It would be nice to rain and get it over. I've got over 100 acres of hay to cut, and only 20 done so far.

we are getting dry on the il wis state line.
i told mrs 730 i would like to mow the pasture and make hay off of it,but i'm afaird if i do that i'll end up feeding it to the cows yet this summer
if we don't get some rain soon it will stop growing.
some friends of mine tore up some old hay ground as it was getting pretty thin stand now they wish they had let it in hay as soil is to dry to plant corn in

I have 60 acres of corn to put in yet, along with 40 acres of beans. First it was too dry, then once it remembered how to rain, it wouldn't stop. I don't even want to think about all the over-mature orchargrass I'll have to bale . . . .
