wish ads would be removed

Why dont people remove there ads once they buy or sell what there looking for??? Then we get in touch with them and they already sold it or bought it.Why??

Oh, because they forget. (Multiple ads placed on different sites) Or they are not able to find their way back to edit the ad. I don't find it to be a big problem. If I call and an item is sold I get a nice visit anyway.

It's probably less of a problem also if you're calling from a cell phone with free long distance. With a land-line [remember, some people still have 'em], it IS a pain to discover you're running up your phone bill for no apparent reason.

People who don't remove ads are basically self centered, lazy people. They don't think of anyone , but themself. There are givers and takers.
They represent the takers of our society. I have encounetr the same scenario on ads. If you ask them why they didn' t remove the ad they say, I am too busy, I don't know how to delete or big deal. It basically comes down to one thing, they don't give a dam about waisting your time.

I advertised for a snow blower wanted a couple of years ago. Never could manage to get the ad deleted. Even asked for help from support, and got no reply! Maybe others have had the same problem!

It happens, don't bother me. Take an ad out in the paper for 2 weeks, sell or find what yer looking for right away, then try to get the ad pulled.....been going on long before everyone had a puter.

I'm far more angry with folks who lie about what they are selling or call about seeing something and are no shows.

When you place the ad, you have the option of setting a password. Make it a simple password that you will remember, like your name. It's not like this is a bank account or something important...

Bookmark your ad after you place it so it is easy to find.

At the top right of the photo ads page there are links to modify and delete ads.

To delete your ad, you need the ad number. That's why you bookmarked the ad you placed. Go to the ad and write down the number. Scroll to the top and click "Delete Ads." Punch in your ad number and enter the password. Follow the prompts from there.

Therein lies the problem! couldn't remember the password!
I just went looking for said ad, and couldn't find it, hopefully, it's gone!
Thanks, Dave

It would be nice if everyone were considerate and technically savvy and perfect, but they aren't. Most people are jerks. Most people aren't technically savvy enough to operate a coffee maker. I've been told there is only one perfect being in the universe...

If everyone would just worry about keeping their own nose clean, and not about the dirt on the other guy's face, we'd all be so much better off.
