Love my 50+ yr old units.

However,

They come up a little short in the versatility dept around our place.

This us our Yanmar 336d. I use it more than any tool I own,and use it more for the bucket, than the tractor itself. I can't tell you how many hundreds if times we have usedit for projects such as this.

We are setting an ac unit in place for our shop. I built the frame its sitting on,and we did some internal supporting to the side of the shop,as we bolted the unit to the shop,in addition to the frame under it. Little redundant to do both, but overkill never hurt.

Yep, I hear ya.

Was feeling a little guilty about owning the 50 HP Kubota that I bought a few years ago, because I really don't have a need for it.

But the river flooded on our place, and pushed down the fence in a low swale where water rushed through. I needed to straighten up the steel posts so we could turn the stock in, but there was still standing water in the swale. 4WD came to the rescue, and we got the job done. Wifey said just hang on to that thing- you could never have done it with any of the antique stuff around here.
