T9 LP INTERNATIONAL CRAWLER

I currently have an old T9 International crawler that my father purchased years ago. It works wonderful on LP. It starts immediatly, but now having trounle with the steering clutches. One side is froze up and the other side has a bad brake. I dont know the year of it and if there are parts for it. I would sure appreciate information anyone has on this type of machine, stories, and pictuures if there are any. Preferrable on the LP t9. Also log in to www.crazytractor.com[www.crazytractor.com]

If you stand on the brake real hard to the side that sticks it may brake loose. The turning brake may be oil soaked. There should be a inspection plate some where. Stan

The T9 stering cluch and brake plate inspection is under stering cluch housing and am still have pieces for and could send you some pictures

That is some crazy blade setup, and I think the only LP T9 I've ever seen.

If the clutch has been stuck for long enough time, it stands a big likelihood it will need to be pulled. New frictions are available, as are seals, but drums and throw out bearings and linkage parts are pretty much in the used category. On the good side, a 9 clutch is fairly easy to work on.

This crawler was purchased in the 70s by my dad and i think
previosly being used in orange groves, it had a big steel pipe
home made attachment that extended about 7-7feet from
tractor and super heavy so we took it off and created somting
light. As per lp i been looking for others to see how they look
lik but no luck yet finding any
