This Years Corn

This is last Sat. That is my Brother. Our farm is about 10 miles from the intersection of I-95 and I-26 SC.

I have you beat by a few inches.

Planted around 2nd week of March. Harnett co. nc. Right up I95 Planted with 5-10-30 starter. Sprayed twice. 100lbs N per Ac. when it was around 20" tall.
We have had plenty of rain here, a little too much.

My corn is still in the bag. We had over 4 inches of rain in the last 10 days, plus cold ground temps.

The corn in west central Arkansas is needing some moisture. It is starting to get the white tint to it like it does when it is dry. Had a horrible crop last year, hope not again this year. Such is the life of a farmer.

Just getting it put in here in Eastern Iowa. It was super dry, then rained for a week, now super dry again. The ground is very hard.
