Little vacation.....you folks behave yourselves...

Think the wife is gettin sick of me..... She's sendin me on a vacation... Little over a week of just eatin, lookin at stuff, and bein worthless... Wish she could go with me but the animals won't feed themselves... She'll go in fall...
Was gonna take the laptop, but don't wanna worry about thieves... Just text each other once a day to see that we are OK.....

Try not to miss me............

The trip will rejuvinate em a little...... We'll see.......close to 18 hours on a bus to get there but nice scenery most all the way and plenty of stretch stops.....
Much better than driving ourselves... We've pretty much taken to buses and trains to go any distance to see something... No stress and no looking for/paying parking.....

One of the places the trip goes to goes right thru one... Still full of mines and houses with bullet holes in them... Some lived in and a lot empty still... from the Balkans war..... Trip is to and around Croatia....

You might think about teaching a trusted friend/neighbor to take care of the animals for short periods so you and the wife can vacation together.

What is the meaning of Vacation, and Retirement. My Dictionary must have a miss print. My wife says we are recycled Retirees. I can remember the days I worked two jobs and had weekend off. NOT ANY MORE. But getting more tractor time, and that is a good thing.

Folks are much nicer and show a little more common sense than to invade someones space,,,, My fellow tourists are a different story tho and a couple have had thier shortcomings pointed out.... Good trip tho.....
