Looks like there was old cracks to start with, I made some fresh ones. I should have it glued back together in the morning some time

You told me you broke the pin. That isn't a pin. Oxygen cylinder 15 degrees to port, 15 degrees elevation. 10 penny nails to hit the blasting caps to ignite the dynamite sticks?.... but if I remember correctly, the African Queen had a vertical boiler, not a gasdrive welder...

I'm wondering, do you let the drawbar swing? If the drawbar swings while turning it would be less strain where it broke.

I cut the bad piece out and glued it back together. Im gonna fish plate it tomorrow with some beef!!. I did break the pin earlier this mornin, got that all fixed up then the hitch broke....lol

Your grinders look like mine! No shields! I also took out that
safety in the trigger Handel, so I have to lay it upside down
like the ones in ur photo. Lol

Dang , that looks like some of Eugene's handy work . like the last time i let him disc he relocated the left back wing on the 470 I H disc. that took me a whole day got get back in alignment and 5 Lbs of Lincoln ready bolt in 7018 and half a tank of gas for the gas axe. We ain't doing that again i will do the discing he has no depth perception and a 18 foot disc will not fit thru two trees 16 foot apart .
