this is a clubhouse for a trout fishing club here in nj. They wanted boulders placed in front of it to stop errosion from the stream, I took a few pictures,I ran the new holland skid steer,and ran the trackhoe some too,Also brought home dinner, they are cooking right now!

Good looking trout , I sure would like to sink my teeth into one of those. Looks like you did a great job placeing the rocks.

I love rock construction of any kind.
That is limestone I would think.
Down here we have quartz and many other rock types. Here is a couple of pics of one of my son's house with our rocks.

those walls are dry stack? and I have wondered, do you use footings, seems frost heave would be problem in your winter climates, great looking work!!
