at the sky these clear nights. It is a perigee moon [moon approx 100,000 klms closer to earth]
Looks real big..
Those with good cameras may photograph it for us, just hoping.

Don't forget the transit of Venus about 4/5 next month.
not a good thought. All humans on earth will be dead when it next appears.well those who don't reach 110 years.

What is "transit of Venus"?

"Transit of Venus" is when the planet Venus passes between the earth and the sun. It will happen June 5th-6th this year and if you don't see it this time you won't live long enough to see it when it happens again in about 110 years. You need special equipment to watch it because you are looking directly at the sun, something like a welders helmet with #14 lens.

Captain Cook [U K Navy] was commissioned by the English Parliament to observe and record it around 1770-1-2. around the same time he discovered Australia..

Don't forget those dark dark glasses.
