lawn mower looses power

WHAT’S UP GUYS:
What is the difference between 5w30 oil and hydraulic trans fluid .
May lawn mower says to use 5w30 for my hydrostat trans, all so they say to use it in the engine.
But the engine will over heat , yes it is air cooled but it looses power and every thing has been been changed.
New plug, cleaned the carb, new air filter, new oil and filter, new trans fluid, and new drive belt.
After it runs for about one hour it looses power.
WHAT IS GOING ON.

Are all the engine sheet metal on it and when was the last time you maybe blew out all the dust etc from the engine. Also may have a mouse nest etc under the engine shroud and that will cause that problem also

After I removed the mouse nest from a neighbor's mower engine 3 times, I put screen around the motor to keep the little critters out.
