pto is disingaged -lever won't move-shaft turning slow BUT I can stop by hand or turn either way. any ideas? shop repair? or something I can do to fix? know of free parts diagram on line? poor retired disabled country boy can't just call jd dealer to pu and fix. thanks for any help

I know too much about being disabled as I'm also disabled. You can go to JDparts.co and view parts schematics. Sometimes it's difficult to find exact schematic because of the way JD had the index worded. Here's the schematic you asked for. Good luck on your repair.

The only way to tell what is going on is to pull the 3 pt rock shaft cover off the rear case. You will need a cherry picker or chain fall as it is very heavy. Once it is off you will be able to see what is causing the problem,one of the linkages may be loose, broke or froze up? One important thing is the BLOCK that connects the ROCK SHAFT OIL LINE to the BOTTOM of the cover...MUST BE DISCONNECTED BEFORE REMOVING COVER or it will be damaged. If my memory is correct remove the tranny cover as well and in the right rear corner are two 3/8 " bolts securing the BLOCK up to the cover.. just follow the oil line back to find the block. A service manual would be a good thing to have as well for torque spec's and the like. Any questions please ask... Jo
 
Green Magazine had a nice two part article with lots of pictures several months ago about 2010 Pto repair.I would look them up on the web and call about purchesing the two issues, then you can decide if you want to tackle it or not.
