Tractor, a Zetor 7711, was not delivering enough power to turn the starter. Took a big jumper cable and hooked it from the negative post to the frame of the tractor. Had power then and tractor started. Checked out ground wire, cleaned it at post, no joy, went and tightened bolt, in a awkward place, where ground wire was fastened to cab. Problem solved(I hope).

A lot of electrical and lighting problems can be solved by a good ground.

Did your sweet corn suffer from that little cold snap a few weeks ago? All our corn had been up for a few weeks with no damage, but we are lower in the State.

Hope your father is better.

Sweet corn planted just before cold snap so it wasn't up yet. Up now and doing well. I had planned to plant earlier but various things inteferred. Want to plant some more ASAP.
