The consensus was voltage drop. No one even nibbled on my fuel draw/vaporization idea. So since supplying alternate voltage to the coil while cranking is even simpler than starting to buy parts- I'm interested in your progress.
 
We used to start stubborh Ford V8 flat heads by using a battery charger to feed the ignition coil.I made a 48 Ford dump truck start every day in winter by jumping the ignition resistor with a push button switch on the dash near the regular starter button.The truck was used to haul manure away from a dairy barn.It had to start.Did this 50 years ago not a new idea.
