What does that do to the airbag sensors? Will the airbags still deploy, or does it render them inoperative? Just curious because I like the concept of the grill guards.

I think air bags deploy from rate of deceleration, not from crush, so it shouldn't make any difference.
I run a reinforced store bought grill guard on mine heavy enough I have my snow plow lift Incorporated into it, it sheds dear like the windshield sheds bugs.

this one was bought in roswell nm, at roswell livestock co, 4 years ago, the sticker on it, [ hard to read, but still there] says "diamond D welding, winters tx, 1-877-754-5500, we also have another dodge with a ranchand brand gaurd on it, different designe, but every bit as tough if you want to see that one i'll have to get a pic of it tomorrow , that truck was actually in a wreck 2 years ago on ice, the bumper not only saved the truck, the same bumper is still on the truck just needed tweeking and some paint a good grill gaurd is a good investment, a cheap one well, you know lol

i believe that those are in the core support on these years, so they wouldnt be affected by installing one of these, later years i dont know, got a 94, 96, and 98, this is the 98
