ih 800 cyclo air planter

I just purchased a IH 800 cyclo air planter and looking for a little guidance. First of all i"m pulling the planter with a IH 656 tractor that was 540 pto, the planter has a 1000 pto pump on it. Can i switch out the pump (if i can find a good one) or is there another solution to the problem?

You should have no problem switching pumps. There were a ton of those cyclos junked out. Try checking a CIH dealer. They might have one laying around. If you pass any ag related junk yards along the road it's a pretty good bet there might be one there too. Jim

ck out craigslist for a pump. they work from any ih air planter. 400,500,800,900 950 or 955.
i've got one for sale here in NE.
