JD 7000 planter populations

I lost the manual pages with the population chart on it. I have a JD 7000 8 row, 36in rows with the finger belt meters installed for corn. I want the population set at 24,000. Does anybody know the driver/driven settings for this population?

I am looking at a 7200 book now. the setting for 24,690 is20 driving 26 with a seed spacing of 7inches. for 23775 pop. use 20 driving 27 seed spacing 7 3/8 inches.Plant a few feet and count seeds, I think a 7200 should be the same.

Try downloading the manual for your planter on the John Deere website. It works for me.

Book says population for 36 inch rows jumps from 23,100 to 24,900. 24,900 is 16 driver and 14 driven,23,100 is 30 driver 28 driven. Hope all goes well.

There might be a serial # break and I think the two are different. Jim
