So Anyone go to Tulare this Weekend?

Hi All, You would think after 11 years with my employer, I'd be able to get one weekend off to go enjoy the hobby, Did'nt happen this year. Spent the weekend delivering tofu,& gluten free goodies to the natural living folks on the central coast :( :( :( . Saw a nice JD Rowcrop On Hwy 138 on my way home from work Sunday though, Took the JD D for a putt ,and enjoyed a few MGD's , would have liked to have been in tulare though, Regards....Tom

I was there Friday and Saturday. Great show if you could stand the heat. Mid 90s both days but didn't slow down any of the activities. Great parade Saturday morning with lots of high crops and crawlers. Being from the Midwest it was really worth the trip out here to see the San Joaquin Valley and how it is farmed. I never thought I would ever see thousands of acres of wheat that would yield 125 to 150 bushels per acre chopped for cow feed.

I was there Sat and it was hot and humid. Seemed to be a pretty good showing. It didn't seem to have as many "odd balls" that it has had in the past. The swap meet was more of a flea market, but I guess you have to make everybody happy. Parts prices (in the swap market) seemed a little high on certain things (mags, hit and miss engines) and a pretty low on others. Not nearly as many "parts" folks selling stuff off a trailer. The auction looked fair, nothing that grabbed my attention as something to come back on Sunday for.
