What do you use as a 'natural' pesticide?jelly mixed with boric acid;chilli powder for ants.Bubble gum for prairie dogs.Carbonated beverage for mice. What else?

A good bon fire keeps the skeeters away! Of course you have to sit pretty darn close to the fire as some of those little buggers can be really hungry and just ain"t afraid of much of anything including a blazing fire!

Waste oil, fire. I have read that Tobacco juice will kill them too.
I like RAID.....In a spray can. Knocks em dead.

I believe you can use arsenic in an organic operation can't you? Thus the recalls of late for high doses of arsenic in organic foods.

Not really organic but hydrated lime works for mice and especially snakes. Moth balls keep mice skunks and other critters out of the yard. Vinager repelles flies.

I mostly use lead, which by the way is organic since it is on the periodic table. Not sure the powder behind it is. But to make sure my farm stays 100% organic I only let the lead touch them, not the powder.

Organically tagged a coyote at 320 yards the other day.

From the dirty trick book. Instant potato BUDS, not flakes, and a bowl of water for rats and mice. They gorge themselves, get thirsty, go to a bowl of water about three feet away. Blows their stomachs up.

Guys, (ms)->Dieatamasious Earth is a product a local garden center in Austin says will kill most insects in the garden.

You are right BUT Give him a little leeway, He is talking about things that are non injurious to your health, like pyrethrins as opposed to agent orange, I think you know what he is getting at. Notice he didn't use 'more' natural as I have heard a lot of people say.

Exactly.... Mix it with feed at (I think) 2% and it's supposed to control parasites.Put it in your bird's dust bath and it'll control lice... Idea is it is razor sharp and will cut the skin(???) of parasites, larvae, etc and cause them to dehydrate or stomach acids to kill them.... I've had decent results on ants with it...
