Now they"ve shifted and added Eastern NE and Western IA to the mix. I"m in western Iowa and it"s gonna be a long night!!

It is going through California now. It started night before last on the Coast, reached the 1500' elev. in the foothills in the early morning hours yesterday. In the afternoon there was a weather alert for thunderstorms with quarter size hail and possibility of a funnel cloud. It looked nasty on the radar but never quite reached us. We got 2 1/2" of rain so far. It is supposed to clear up tonight.
