Rember these old fender mount radio's. Just found one box only sure brings back memories. Sure others recall them.Been helping this old tv/radio repair man clean up. I found this old radio box with antenna in his stuff. Being a farm boy I knew what it was. He gave it to me. Hardly used he got in the 1970's, no radio inside box and antenna are like new.

I found one in the barn too. It was A.M. only. Must be 1960's vintage. Don't know if it works yet.

Remember'em?! I've got three of'em. Two orange ones like that, one AM/FM,one just AM. Have them on my Oliver 1550 and 1600. And I've got one of the newer small black AM/FMs on my 1850. First one I ever had was a white AM only from Tractor Supply back in the 60s or real early 70s. That one had two switches,6 volt or 12,positive or negative ground.

I helped my brother load a deep freeze from a coworkers mothers basement 15 years ago. While we were there we noticed an Allis Chalmers box on the shelf. Asked what it was, a brand new Allis Chalmers amfm radio in the original box, brother offered a $100 and took it home. Still using it but on a 4020 JD fender. chris

We have an old Huskee one on the 8N. Nothing better than raking hay while listening to classic country or Twins baseball on 1310 out of Glencoe MN. The old dairy farmer I used to work for had one on almost every tractor. They were always tuned to 860 out of New Ulm for the polka lunch.
