Can someone ID this saw for me? I'd like to find a air cleaner top for it. Thanks, Fritz

I've got an SL9 apart I'd sell. Wonder if the top would fit? lot of times saws had the same body parts but different engine sizes. It may be the case here.

Hi, I do have one of those saws in the garage. Purchased at an auction. Does anyone have any idea what the fuel mixture oil/gas ratio? Thanks, Murray

They are 16-1 gas and oil mix, they need lots of oil.I have a few remingtons and can tell you do not cheat on oil mix also do not lean out fuel mixture adgustment on carb to speed up saw as they are slower rpm and will burn up piston and cylinder if you try it.For and air cleaner top call Keith's Saw Service 1-608-623-2446 in Cobb,Wisconsin.hope this helps Scott

Thanks for all the help. I always admired the way the thing started and ran. I use Bel-Ray MC-1 at 50:1 and keep the main a hair on the rich side. I won't say it's a match for a 028 Stihl, but it does okay for it's age.
