IH 300 utility rear split

I'm trying to split the center section from the rear end so I can get the TA out. I have all the bolts out (including the one from the center bottom). RTV was used to seal them together. There isn't any gap to slip something in there to wedge them apart. I have the rear end supported and have tried jumping on the front of the center section, but it is glued tight. I'm out of ideas, but a sledge hammer would make me feel better.

using a dremel, or 4" angle with a cutoff wheel,
make two grooves on opposite sides under the bottom
(less visible) between the two cases at the joint.
Use an appropriate chisel that pushes with the
shallow angle to split it. Heating the front half
with one or two heat guns will also apply shear to
the seal. be careful not to let things fall more
than an inch or so. Jim

Thanks Jim. I had tried making a kerf with a hacksaw blade last evening, but it wasn't wide or deep enough. I widened and deepened the first cut and made a second. I took up the weight at the front of the center section and drove two screwdrivers in until it popped apart. This was supposed to be a quick and cheap replacement of the TA seals, but I also found some rivets in the TA clutch disk broken, so there goes cheap.
